Trex Becomes Exclusive Provider of PVC Decking Trex Company is now the exclusive supplier of PVC decking and trim to the Chino and Healdsburg, Calif., locations of Capital Lumber, a leading distributor PVC Tarpaulin of specialty building materials in the Western United States. Through this agreement, Trex Escapes decking and TrexTrim have displaced previously stocked competitive PVC products.

"Trex has enjoyed a long and successful partnership with Capital Lumber, and over the past several years, we've consistently proven our commitment to superior product quality, innovation and service," said Ron Kaplan, chairman, president and CEO of Trex. "This deal is a clear indication that we're strongly positioned for future market share gains and significant sales increases throughout the West."Capital Lumber operates two distribution facilities PVC Tarpaulin in California. Located 65 miles north of San Francisco, the 70,000-square-foot Healdsburg Division is a leader in introducing building products that are both innovative and problem solving. The Chino Division boasts 40,000 square feet of covered storage positioned on 12-and-a-half acres with product inventoried to meet customers' immediate needs. Both locations serve building products dealers throughout California and Western Nevada.

"We now have the opportunity to create more focus in our PVC decking and trim categories by stocking one trusted brand, and we've strengthened a mutually beneficial partnership PVC Tarpaulin with Trex."As a result of the recent deal between Trex and Capital Lumber, several California dealers partnering with Capital's Chino and Healdsburg distribution facilities now stock both Trex Escapes and TrexTrim instead of competitive brands. These dealers include Golden State Lumber, Sierra Point Lumber, Mead Clark Lumber, Economy Lumber of Oakland, Burke & Pace and Weyrick Pacific.
